Machina lirica

In 1909 the Futurists would proclaim the advent of a new form of art, the manifestation of the new Beauty brought about by human imagination and new machines.

The Image is the meeting place of technology and human imaginations

They attest to human ingenuity and powerful dreams but carry in them a unique flavor, the spirit of the technological

The nature of this symbiosis was best revealed with the advent of the Technical Image: the invention of photography marked a definitive turn: the Worlds was first revealed in its wholeness, humans became a family

The technical image brought about an even greater power: the ability of not only narrating our presents, reals or not, it also offered us the possibility of imagining the future

The birth of Photography in late 19 century was the birth of what philosopher Vílem Flússer has called Technical Images.

Bathed in alchemies, Photography revealed itself as the quintessential image: "the mirror of the world"
